Account & Data Deletion
Instructions for requesting deletion of your Jaap Karo account and associated Jaap activity data.
How to request deletion
Send an email to support@jaapkaro.com from your registered email address with the subject line Delete My Jaap Karo Account.
Include your registered email address, mobile number if available, and a short statement confirming that you want your account deleted.
What will be deleted
We will delete or anonymize your profile information, profile image, session templates, Jaap sessions, session logs, streak data, activity records, and account-linked analytics.
What may be retained
Limited records may be retained temporarily where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup recovery, dispute handling, or audit purposes. Retained data is restricted and removed when it is no longer needed.
Verification
We may contact you to verify account ownership before completing a deletion request. Requests sent from an email address not associated with the account may require additional verification.
Processing time
Deletion requests are reviewed and processed within 30 days after successful verification. You will receive a confirmation when the request is completed.
Effect of deletion
After deletion, you may lose access to your account, saved templates, active and completed sessions, counter history, streak records, and profile information. This action may not be reversible once completed.
